In developed countries, societies are aging quickly. Since the elderly have reduced immunity and physical strength, intensive medical treatment is not used in most cases. Can't the elderly, who are bedridden and suffering from dementia, be saved any longer? The answer cannot be no. I think it is too early to give up. With suitable dental treatment, they may regain their health. If reducing medical expenses is necessary, nursing care expenses and the number of illnesses should be reduced.
