With the developing stride in science and technology effective healthcare delivery system is paramount. The healthcare service provider has taken pains over the past decades to implore Information Technology to render a better quality of service by setting up LANs & WANs Technology (Virtual Private Networks) for securing connectivity between associate organisations and as well protecting patient data for confidentiality and integrity. This project aspiration is to design a network prototype good enough for deployment in healthcare institutions (Hospitals) with cardinal points on assurance of data integrity and privacy, providing resilient link with high availability by avoiding a single point of failure in the network and security between the network links. A thorough research was carried out to know the most suitable and appropriate security network technologies to be adopted for deploying it. The result of the research findings then led to the "Deployment of Fail Safe (Failover)Secure Network" The prototype was built on Cisco packet tracer version 6.0, which was tested, and appraised and the necessary recommendations for further improvement and a conclusion was made.
