Some might not like his hard-nosed approach to life, his way of treating depression and anxiety, his Gospel presentation, and doing what’s right, but that’s just how he is—old school preaching without being afraid to talk about sin and God’s justice as well as His love. His favorite authors are A. W. Tozer, Watchmen Nee, Dietrich Bonhoffer, David Wilkerson, and Ray Comfort plus many, many more old school preachers. Pastor Scott was raised a Roman Catholic, turned atheist, dabbled a short time in the occult, and even played drums in the heavy metal music scene of the 1980s before coming to know Jesus Christ as Lord.
