The book concludes by suggesting that women can be prevented from depression in postnatal period they should be prevented from depression in prenatal period. Moreover to prevent the women from depression in prenatal period they should be provided with a healthy family atmosphere in terms of their relationship with husbands and their perception of social support. Readers would learn about psychological and transitional phases that women experience during this period.
