Introduction Elderly Depression is very common and more so common in elderly females and the problem gets further intensified by the presence of other physical and psychological comorbid conditions. Depression adversely affects the quality of life of the elderly and often increases suicidal risk among them. The researches have supported the role of various psychological and alternative treatments in reducing elderly depression and enhancing quality of life of elderly.
