The present work was an endeavour to study Depression among Adolescents as related to their Parent and Peer Attachment and Social Support. To conduct this study, the objectives kept in mind were, a) To examine the socio-personal profile of adolescents taken for the study, b)To compare the high and low depressed adolescents on their attachment with parents and peers and their social support, c) To study gender differences in adolescents on depression, parents and peers attachment and their social support, d) To examine the relationship between depression, parent and peer attachment and social support in adolescents, e) To assess the relative and conjoint probability of parent and peer attachment and social support for depression among adolescents The findings revealed that adolescents who have less depression have high parent and peer attachment and social support as compared to those having high depression. Females have higher parental and peer attachment and social support as compared to males. There exists negative correlation among total attachment, social support and depression of adolescents.
