Why Was This Book Created? Depression is one of the most common and yet misunderstood disorders of our time. It is estimated that millions of people around the world struggle with this illness, and these numbers continue to rise. Despite advancements in medicine and technology, depression remains stigmatized, often misdiagnosed, or inadequately treated. This book was created out of a need to tackle this challenge in a holistic and understandable way, offering hope and practical solutions to those who feel that traditional methods have failed. Depression: The Epidemic of Our Time The modern world presents us with immense challenges: the pressure for success, social isolation, and the lack of balance between professional and personal life. All of this leads to a growing wave of mental health issues, with depression being one of the most prevalent. However, instead of understanding and support, those suffering from depression often face misunderstanding, indifference, or pressure to "just pull themselves together." As the author of this book, I have encountered depression - both personally and through working with people who fight for a better tomorrow every day. I understood that depression is not just a lack of happiness or a temporary breakdown, but a profound disorder that affects every area of life: emotions, body, and mind. Seeking Alternative Paths Traditional approaches to treating depression often rely on pharmacology and standard therapies, which, although they can provide relief, do not always address the root cause. For many people, antidepressant medications are difficult to tolerate, and side effects become an additional burden. This book was created to show that there are other paths - natural, holistic, and full of hope. My goal is to move beyond conventional frameworks and propose a new perspective on depression. The holistic approach I offer focuses on balance between the body, mind, and spirit, emphasizing the importance of lifestyle, natural therapies, and emotional work.
