The synthesis of new derivatives of Cholic acid was accomplished following a sequence of Saegusa oxidation, reduction with NaBH4, Luche reduction and -hydroxylation (i.e., Vedejs reagent and peptide bond formation of triazole & 2H-benzo[b][1,4] oxazin-3(4H)-one derivatives . The structures of all newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by the appropriate spectral data including IR, MASS, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, LCMS, and DEPT. Purity of all the compounds was determined by TLC, GCMS and LCMS analysis.
