The following work aims to describe the IFRS implementation process in a company of the Agricultural sector of Valle del Cauca, where different shortcomings were identified in the definition of accounting policies, high implementation costs and few qualified personnel to carry out the process. Initially, we will find the research background that served as conceptual input to solve the research problem, which allowed a formulation and systematisation of the research problem, evidencing the need to describe the implementation process and its different problems in the start-up.
