But here I am, stuck in this surreal desert nightmare with Alex-my so-called "partner" who seems to know way more than he's telling me and who has a knack for making every moment feel like we're one step away from doom. I'd walk away if I could, but something tells me this goes deeper than either of us understands. The Coalition is after a weapon, a key to end the war, but the closer we get, the more I wonder if this "relic" is just a myth wrapped in secrets-and if Alex and I are pawns in a game I didn't ask to play. But quitting isn't in my DNA. So, yeah, we're moving forward, into a broken city where alliances shatter and ghosts walk beside you. I'll find this relic, uncover the truth, and figure out Alex's real motives, no matter the cost. Even if it's my sanity that's the price.
