Autorenporträt
I first wrote Zeus and Iliad in Turkish in 2009 and published it in my country. While working on my Desert Rose trilogy in English, I also decided to translate Zeus and Iliad-a process that took two years. During this time, the story evolved, and the plot deepened and expanded as I, now in my early 40s, revisited it with the perspective of someone much different from the 20-year-old version of myself who originally wrote it. While the Turkish version, still available in some local online stores, follows the same core storyline, the magnificent tale of Prometheus and Nyx is exclusive to this English edition.
