Elizabeth Cooley is a former educator who resides in the sunny desert southwest region of the United States with her husband and two children. A graduate from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Elementary Education, Elizabeth has always had a love for children's literature. "Deserts Grow Veggies?" is Elizabeth's debut children's book. Elizabeth was inspired to write this story because of the beautiful agricultural fields that surround her community.
