The lighting electrical energy consumption is drastically affected by lighting system power and operating hours. Decreasing in any of these factors result in reduction of electrical energy consumption. This is achievable by selecting efficient light system, using daylight appropriately and define effective lighting controller strategy. In addition to energy saving, lighting quality is important which has to fulfill the lighting standards. This book directed to find a more efficient light source and design effective lighting controller for university classrooms.
