Design and Development of an automatic dam gate control system is an essential issue for Bangladesh. Geographically, our country is a flood-affected country. So, every year the trend of floods arises. Moreover, the water stored in the dam for a whole year has been used for irrigation and drinking purposes. So, we try to create an automatic dam gate that can open and close the gate of the river automatically by measuring the speed of the water. These gates can be used automatically depending on the urge of water in the river. The main objective of this research is to develop an automating the dam, which is done by different sensors such as water level and solenoid valve control to make full automatic control on a real-time basis. Moreover, the dam functions are regularly displayed by the 16_2 LCD display.
