The work is devoted to the development of design and performance of adsorption transformers of heat energy. A comparative analysis of materials and technologies used for accumulation and transformation of heat energy is carried out. Factors affected their effectiveness are shown. New nano-dispersed composite adsorbents 'silica gel - sodium sulphate' and 'silica gel - sodium acetate' are proposed. Based on the suggested adsorbents, the designs of heat storage devices of open and closed types, heat and moisture regenerators for heating and hot water supply systems, as well as ventilation and air conditioning, and adsorptive heat pumps and chillers have been developed. Algorithms for calculating their structural and operational parameters are proposed. The operating modes corresponding to the maximum values of the efficiency coefficients of the devices are established. The monograph is intended for specialists working in the field of solar energy, heat supply, chemistry and chemicaltechnology and nanotechnology.
