The design of high pressure steam turbine blades is addressed in this book. The profile of the steam turbine blades, the materials used in their construction, and the variables that lead to turbine blade failure and hence turbine failure are discussed. These technologies are covered in length in this book. This book looks at how well particular titanium alloys and steels resist creep and fracture when used in wind turbine blades. The efficiency of chemical and thermal coatings in avoiding blade substrate corrosion will also be studied. Current designs that have been estimated to mitigate the fatigue generated by these stresses are also explored in length.
