Autorenporträt
Dr. Pidaparti received his Ph.D. degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Purdue University, West Lafayette and currently, he is a Professor and distinguished faculty scholar in the College of Engineering at the University of Georgia. Previously, he has been on the faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University as well as the Purdue University School of Engineering & Technology at Indianapolis. Dr. Pidaparti's research interests are in the broad areas of multidisciplinary design innovation, computational biomechanics and informatics, bioinspired materials and structures, and STEM education. Dr. Pidaparti has published over 300 technical papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings. He is a member of several professional societies including Fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science;Fellow of Royal Aeronautical Society; Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers; Associate Fellow of American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics; and member of American Society of Engineering Education.
