Electric Vehicle is considered as a modern day cleaner and more efficient alternative to ICE vehicles, propelled by an electric motor [12]. It has an energy source like a battery which can be charged using a charger as well as a power converter to drive the motor with the help of an intelligent controller. EV is a combination of mechanical, electrical, electronics and informative sub systems. The body, chassis, transmission, road envelope belong to the mechanical system.
