Based on that situation, the government has formed a national CSIRT called ID-SIRTII (Indonesia Security Incident Response Team on Internet Infrastructure) in 2007 to invigilate the network security based on internet protocol. The missions of ID-SIRTII are to control, to prevent, and to help the enforcement of law if the cyber crime happened. ID-SIRTII, as an institution that control and prevent cyber crime should have several research laboratories such as Digital Forensics Laboratory, Malware Analysis Laboratory, and Hacking Laboratory. This thesis is purposeful to help ID-SIRTII in designing the Digital Forensics Laboratory.
