The book aims to design an investment Waqf-based model for financing education in south of Algeria, and validate it through surveying the perceptions of various stakeholders towards the acceptance of the proposed model. In order to shape a solid background for own model, the book digs in the Islamic bibliographic of Waqf system and in the Western charitable experiences for various methods for financing, managing, controlling Waqf projects. In addition, primary data was collected using self-administered questionnaire in order to identify the key factors that influence stakeholders to accept and support the proposed model. The proposed model relies on three main pillars, the financing method, management style, and control system. The Model adopts Waqf Shares Scheme as a method of financing both the primary and secondary projects. The management style mixes between the Islamic institutional Waqf model and the Western charitable organization model. Finally, judicial system will play the role of control over the work of education charitable organization established to manage the project.
