An embedded system is a computer system with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system, often with real-time computing constraints. Modern embedded systems are often based on microcontrollers, but ordinary microprocessors (using external chips for memory and peripheral interface circuits) are also common, especially in more-complex systems. Designing PCB layout according to the necessary requirement and then fabrication of the hardware. Further, coding and burning of the code and testing the hardware with the sensors, output and input modules. Testing, troubleshooting and rectification of faults is the latter part, are the methodologies to be adopted. Embedded hardware was successfully designed, fabricated and programmed according to the purpose. Hydraulic Press was successfully operated using the designed control panel. Observations were made while tackling problems of software - hardware play in consideration with the limitations of embedded systems to facilitate the proper required functioning of the Hydraulic press. Designing for the PCB layout was carried on Proteus 8.
