Moreover, it documents a WIMP+ software architecture pattern and develops a pattern based object-oriented framework with multiple programming layers for WIMP+ user interface construction. Furthermore, it demonstrates the practicability of these design patterns and frameworks through developing three WIMP+ user interfaces for controlling a model robot. Meanwhile, during the development, the related application domain pattern and HCI patterns are also researched and documented.
