The effect of macro socio-cultural attitudes and discourses is considered as one of the effective reasons in these differences, which shapes views towards gender and women's position in society, as well as gender identity. This book is an introduction to the approaches, requirements, and factors affecting the favorable urban spaces of Iranian women. First, this research discusses the importance of women's presence in urban spaces, as fields of interaction and dialogue. Then, it addresses the issue of gendered space and finally presents factors affecting the presence of women in one of Tehran neighborhoods as the case study.
