Autorenporträt
Rhonda Gutierrez is a professional artist, originally from the Bronx, New York, currently residing in Miramar, Florida. Rhonda's approach to art is ambitious. She seeks to transcend the aesthetic elements of art by employing a holistic technique that creates an atmosphere conducive to our connectedness and capacity to heal. Whether it is poetry, photography, or painting, a common unifying thread runs through Rhonda's creations: our interrelatedness. It is this human factor that drives her global approach to art: art for art's sake;, art for man's sake, art for the world's sake. Her ever-expanding search for new artistic vistas is evident in her eclectic entries in local exhibits and competitions. Rhonda's primary means of artistic expression--portrait photography--showcases her ability to create a trusted space where family, friends, and clients surrender themselves to discover their voices through her lens. Rhonda does not limit herself to captured images. The influence of Picasso, de Kooning, Pollack, and Klee graces her canvases. Her use of line, texture, shape, and color further explores their interpretations of reality to come together in her unique style. Rhonda's original paintings, photographs, and Giclee prints are available through her Miramar, Florida studio. Her photographs have appeared on book covers and published content. Whenever Rhonda is not at her studio, you can find her in her garden, or making her famous cold-pressed juices, and doing what she loves the most...just sitting at a café with a friend. To her, it is all art.
