"Detectorists" is a British television comedy series which was broadcast on BBC Four between 2014 and 2017. It was written and directed by Mackenzie Crook, who also stars alongside Toby Jones. Mackenzie Crook’s fabulous script, his quirky characters, the superb cast, the ingenious subplots, the contagious humour, and the beautiful Essex landscape make for outstanding entertainment.
