Approximately 1% of the world's population suffers from a brain disorder called epileptic disorder. It is disorder of the normal brain characterized by excessive neuronal activity. This is a complex disorder not well-explained at the biochemical and physiological levels. There is need for investigations for novel features, which can be extracted and used for distinguishing epileptic EEG signals from normal EEG signals.
