I was born in Addis Ababa. Went to Addis Ketema to attain my secondary education. I have a BA degree in Economics from Mekele University. Also, I have got MA degree from Addis Ababa University in Development studies specializing in Rural Livelihood and Development. Currently, I am working as a university lecturer in Ethiopia.
