Ethiopian coffee export over the study period (34 years) has shown 6.28% annual growth in terms of the exported volume attaining 5,000 metric tons of growth in quantity every year. In a similar way it has shown 18.57 million USD annual increment with ratio of 12.62%. This wouldn't be undermined, a 12.62% annual growth over the last 34 years. However, the movement is very erratic in the range that shows the minimum -74% while the highest is 175.54% per annum depicting implied weakness in strategy development and implementation with slowing performance over the last five years (average value 2.93% and volume 3.90%). This study has identified the determinants of Ethiopian coffee export performance and forwarded relevant recommendation. Quantitative data analysis is performed using the Multiple Regression Model. Export can play a vital role in contributing to a nation's economic growth and wealth creation. They endeavor to perform well in this regard in order to satisfy the development needs of the community.
