This paper aims to see determinants of Indonesia s Shrimp Exports in the EU by understanding the domestic value chain, the opportunity and barrier of Indonesia s shrimp exports, and also the role of trade policy and tariff preferences. Trade policy and tariff preference become very important tools in international trade. On a global level, WTO through the General Agreement on Tariff and Trade (GATT) has been doing many trade negotiations and agreements subjected to reduction of import tariff and the implementation of the Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS) and the Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) for fishery products. Tariff preference also gives beneficial for developing and least developing countries by getting more special tariff reduction to access in the EU market.
