Determinants of social exclusion and discrimination in comparison with Non- Scheduled Caste (NSC). The study is conducted in rural area of Tiruchirappalli district in Tamil Nadu State of India. The domain of economic resource including economic well-being, access to public and private services, access to financial resources, social resources, social participation, education , political participation , health well-being , social security , cultural practices ,food security and coping mechanism , knowledge on human rights and standard of living shows their significantly lower level among SC compared to NSC implying their social exclusion and discrimination.The result shows that' Strategies needs to be developed and implemented on the identified domains which are significantly associated with social exclusion and discrimination and concentrate on sub-groups of SC in socio-economic and demographic characteristics in order to eliminate their social exclusion and discrimination'.
