An accurate, simple, reproducible and sensitive High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC SHIMADZU JAPAN FABRICATED) method for simultaneous estimation of Loratadine, Methyl Paraben, and Propyl Paraben from Loratadine suspension for pharmaceutical formulation has been developed and validated. The linear ranges were found to be (r2 = 0.9983) for Loratadine for (r2 = 0.9702) methyl paraben and (r2 = 0.9985) for propyl paraben. The percentage relative standard deviation for accuracy and precision were not more than 2.0%. Hence, Precision was performed on three homogenous samples in a duration…mehr

Hence, Precision was performed on three homogenous samples in a duration of 72 hours. Ruggedness was performed on Homogenous sample by three different researchers in the same day by using same mobile phase. UV-detection (SPD-10A) 254nm. This method could be successfully applied for routine analysis of Loratadine, Methyl paraben and propyl paraben in different dosage forms. The method used was linear, reproducible, precise and rugged.
