The effect of covered and uncovered garlic and allamanda tablets at different concentrations (1:3, 1:4, and 1:5) and age upto 150 days on seed germination and seedling infection of eggplant were investigated. There was no significant difference in the effect of bioactivity between covered (Tablets kept in air tight plastic foil) and uncovered (Normal plastic box) tablets upto 150 days. Seeds inoculated with Phomopsis vexans and Sclerotium rolfsii and treated with both garlic and allamanda tablet of concentrations, 1:3, 1:4, and 1:5 were evaluated in tray soil. Seed germination and seedling diseases were significantly influenced by both concentration and the age of tablets. Among the concentration, 1:4 upto 60 days old tablet gave higher seed germination over control and seedling diseases (Seedling blight and damping-off) were nil / minimum for both Phomopsis vexans and Sclerotium rolfsii inoculated seeds. 90 days to 150 days old tablet performed best in the tray soil at 1:3 concentration. Seed germination decreased and seedling infection increased with the increase of tablet age upto 150 days. In 150 days old tablet, 1:4 and 1:5 concentration were not effective.
