The students discontinued most in their first or second year of study. Five primary causes of dropping out were: concerns about being enrolled in a non-preferred field of study, security, lifestyle, problems with time management, and problems caused by a break or change in an intimate relationship. With the purpose of reduce the discontinuation rate, the guidance before entering the university and during studying in the university could be more informative in effective ways.
