The work in this book is a product of my PhD thesis. The research emanates from the need for further contributions on developing frameworks for enhancing formative classroom assessment. It is therefore, a vital resource for both teachers, facilitators and lecturers. The emphasis is on assessment as learning and aligning assessment policies or guidelines to the practice in the respective institutions.
