Teaching our young learners how to be critical of the world around them might be a complex and sometimes difficult task. However, this objective isn't as challenging for students as it is for teachers who want to make a positive impact and change their students' lives. By using Critical Literacy, teachers can provide children with tools to analyze their context as well as motivate them to speak their minds whenever they feel they are facing a situation where their voice or someone else's is being unheard. To do so, it is key for teachers to work on their own critical literacy skills and the material that students will develop throughout the class.
