As instructors it is very important to know how can help EFL students to communicate successfully. In this book the authors suggest to use speech acts theory to promote students' communicative competence. The present book aims at: 1. Investigating empirically the effect of using brainstorming,imagination and role-play for employing Speech act theory in teaching conversation. 2.Investigating the effect of employing Speech act theory in teaching conversation on promoting students' communicative competence.
