Lionel J. Beaulieu is Director of the Southern Rural Development Center and Professor of Rural Sociology in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Mississippi State University. Jeffrey L. Jordan is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Georgia and Director, of the Southern Region USDA's Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (S-SARE) Program.
