The main aim of this research work is to test and evaluate the performance of solar milk pasteurization system. To evaluate the performance of solar milk pasteurization system, solar hot water system, concentric tube type heat exchanger, cooling tank has used. To test the solar milk pasteurization system, three different mass flow rate of hot water like 2 liter/minute, 3 liter/minute and 5 liter/minute and cold milk 0.5 litre/minute, 0.7 litre/minute and 1.0 litre/minute have been used. After the pasteurization, the obtained milk from the concentric tube type heat exchanger has been tested in laboratory and obtained satisfactory results. From the series of experiments, it has been found that, the hot water flow rate of 5 litre/minute and milk flow rate of 0.5 litre/minute found optimum for the pasteurization system. All the results of effect of flow rate on heat transfer from hot water, cold water, Logarithmic mean temperature difference, Overall heat transfer coefficient of inner and outer surface area and effectiveness also determined and compared with other researchers work and found good agreement with the results.
