This book is the outcome of a research study of the nature, extent and consequences of displacement brought about by Project MIHAN (Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur). A multiple facility complex of airport, Special Economic Zone (SEZ), rail-road connections and residential and commercial complexes. Spread over 4,600 hectares, the project's estimated cost is Rs. 14,235 crore. The land for MIHAN Project (MIL) is taken from 15 villages of which 7 villages are from Nagpur Urban District and 8 villages are from NagpurRural District.
