Playful material is an important tool in teaching methodology, which is valued by most educators because it stimulates the teaching-learning process, creates an environment conducive to shared learning and increases student motivation and interaction. In order to address the content of endangered Brazilian fauna, a didactic game was developed. In this case, a board and card game, which was developed by analyzing high school textbooks, works related to educational games and games already known to the public. It was created using free software available on the internet and Microsoft Word. The result was a visibly attractive game, in which the board produced symbolizes the environment and the cards generated symbolize endangered animals, human attitudes and interspecific relationships, and can be used as a resource to facilitate understanding of the dynamics of nature.
