After completing his undergraduate studies in landscape design to become a landscape architect, Istizad continued his academic career towards urban planning, habitat and sustainable land use by completing a Master's degree at the University of Perpignan. During his experience in the design office CET Mayotte, he worked for the design of a coastal path in wood to meet the requirements of the seaside conditions in the north of the island of Mayotte. Under the control of the municipality of M'tsamboro, the project consists in consolidating a quality living environment and ensuring a continuity between the two ends of the coastline of a village lacking attractiveness.
