Sensing plays an important role in agriculture due to the growing demand for food and the difficulty of measuring or diagnosing behaviours that designate a problem or optimise crop development. Precision agriculture provides an evolution in this concept, as this model of cultivation involves the insertion of systems capable of estimating control parameters. However, the purpose of this work is to present the construction of an LVDT transducer, along with its operating principle and information on the development process, test modelling and the response of positioning signals from the LVDT core.
