The main objective of this work is the instrumental development of equipment for forming thin films. To this end, a prototype capable of carrying out deposition using the dip coating technique was designed and built. Different thin film production tests were carried out to evaluate and compare it with commercial models. The results obtained showed that the equipment has desirable characteristics for forming thin films for research and development. In addition, its cost has been reduced by using recyclable parts, without loss of durability, it is easy to assemble and has other features that rival commercial models.
