Our group is involved in multidisplinary research fields like SHI induced modification in polymers, and their use as nanofilter, CNT dispersed polymer filters for gas separation and ion separation. Our group is involved in multidisplinary research fields like SHI induced modification in polymers, and their use as nanofilter, CNT dispersed polymer filters for gas separation and ion separation. We have developed nuclear track etched and composite membranes for physical chemical and biological applications. The surface modification by irradiation of polymers is also carried out and studied. Besides it our group is also involved in preparation of bilayer /multilayer nanostructures semi conducting thin films, hydrogen storage materials, switch able mirrors and dilute magnetic semiconductors. The Porous polymers with some active dopping provide a good media for variation in the electronic properties due to gas absorption, which has been the main motivation for developing the polymer based gas sensors.

Prof. Y. K. Vijay received his M.Sc. degree in Physics and Ph.D. degree from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur (India) in 1975 and 1980 respectively. He has published over 150 papers guided and 25 Ph D thesises.Dr. Subodh M Sc Physics and Ph D from the Department of Physics, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur under Prof. Y. K Vijay.
