Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the pilosebaceous follicle for which Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis have been recognized as acne-inducing bacteria triggering inflammation in acne. The present work was undertaken to validate the folk use of traditional Indian medicinal plants in the treatment of acne vulgaris as a separate entity and as a combination by using scientific methods.

Il a été professeur associé à la Lovely Professional University. Le Dr Prasad a publié plus de 45 articles internationaux, un livre et géré 6 projets financés.
