Mixed metal oxides with iron (Fe3+) oxide with the general formula MFe2O4 are known as Ferrites. They exhibit spinel structure and hence are also named as spinel ferrites. Spinel ferrites are industrially important materials which have aroused considerable interest during the last half a century. The basic properties of ferrites such as structural, magnetic and electric etc., have been the subject of tremendous interest to physicists, chemists and ceramists. The academic interest in the study of ferrites systems is from the fact that they are the most important electronic and magnetic ceramics. The high potential applications of ferrites in electronics, microwave and computer technologies have attracted the attention of many research workers in the field of material science. This book deals with the preparation of nanocrystalline ferrites and the effect of stress on these NiCuZn ferrite cores were studied to establish the stress sensitivity of inductance of these materials, if any, and to find out compositions suitable for stress sensor application.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Penchal Reddy carried out his research on conventional and microwave sintering studies on polycrystalline ferrites under the supervision of Prof.R.R.Reddy and critical evaluation of Prof.K.V.Sivakumar fetched PhD degree from S.K.University in 2010. He published more than 18 research articles and presented several research papers in conferences.
