This book is a proposal aims to present a strategic plan at specific school unit level, namely High School of Voukolies, Chania, Greece, following the phases of the model of Johnson and Scholes. On the occasion of the disappointing results in the PISA 2015 competition and the pressure of the Greek Ministry of Education to improve students' performance, the school is invited to make changes. The importance of the self-management of the school unit is highly recognized. In addition, this proposal can be adopted and exploited by other educational units with similar characteristics. The strategic planning proposal for the High School of Voukolies follows the phases of the Johnson and Scholes model, with a number of strategic options and actions be proposed to achieve the individual objectives that the educational community will set. The possibilities and weaknesses, opportunities and threats that emerge for the High School of Voukolies with PESTE and SWOT methods, are expected to contribute to the school's appropriate strategic options. A proposal for the evaluation of this strategic planning based on the CIPP evaluation model is also presented.

Maria Flouri es de Chania, Creta, Grecia. Ha estudiado Historia y Arqueología. Obtuvo un máster en Liderazgo y Política Educativa. Ha sido profesora de literatura griega en colegios públicos durante más de 15 años. Ha asistido a numerosas formaciones y seminarios y en los últimos años ha sido directora de un centro de enseñanza secundaria.
