Thaxson Patterson II is an African American writer currently living in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Denver in 2003 with a degree in Electronic Media Art Design, worked as an art designer for his sister's jewelry design company and a local nonprofit organization. His lifelong reading, collecting, and obsession with a variety of literary genres including Lovecraftian horror, Dean Koontz mysteries, Stephen King supernatural tales, and the heroic myths from antiquity fueled his passion for writing. His science fiction short story "Life Under Research Conditions" was published in the anthology The Toll of Another Bell by Xchyler Publishing in 2015. "The Gunslinger with No Hands", a supernatural ghost tale, was published in August 2015 in Bardic Tales and Sage Advice Volume VII by Bards and Sages Publishing. DEVIL'S MAINTENENCE is his first work published by Black Bed Sheet Books, and look forward to more from this sensational author!
