Each devotion is preceded by a litany of promise as we seek divine examples for our lives. As women of God, we all have a sincere desire to follow his plan. The challenge comes in discerning the time and always trying to figure out exactly what we should be doing. It may be that as women, since we have so many demands on our time, it is hard to hit the "pause" button in our lives and listen to the small but powerful voice speaking within our souls. We reason that we cannot give up a good-paying job to go into the ministry. For most women, that may be true. We also reason that as stay-at-home mothers, we are constantly consumed throughout the day, and the work is never complete.
