Taking advantage of the fairly good number of diabetic patients attending the RDC, a health care facility run by the Rajshahi Diabetic Association. It may be concluded that Both insulin secretory dysfunction and insulin resistance constitute the basic defects of diabetes in Rajshahi population, but insulinsecretory defect seems to be more predominant in these subjects.
